4. For the purposes of subsection 95H (1) of the Act, the prescribed period in
relation to an election is the period:

   (a)  beginning:

        (i)    at the close of nominations for the election; or

        (ii)   at the beginning of the third last Saturday before the
               election day; whichever occurs later; and

   (b)  ending at the end of the last Wednesday before the election day.
