192 Rate of NRS excise levy on buffalo slaughter

For clause 2 of Schedule 11 to the NRS Excise Levy Act, the rate of NRS excise levy on the slaughter of buffaloes is $1.00 per head.

Note
Regulation 192 will remain in force until 30 June 2006 (see Schedule 2 to the Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey Levies) Amendment Regulations 2003 (No. 3) ). After that time, the operative rate of NRS excise levy on buffalo slaughter will be $5.00 per head under clause 2 of Schedule 11 to the NRS Excise Levy Act.
