PRIVACY REGULATION 2013 (SLI NO 262 OF 2013) - REG 17

Customer Reference Number

             (1)  For subclause 9.3 of the Australian Privacy Principles:

                     (a)  an organisation mentioned in Part 1 of Schedule 2 is a prescribed organisation; and

                     (b)  a Customer Reference Number is a prescribed identifier; and

                     (c)  the prescribed circumstance is that the prescribed organisation uses or discloses an individual's prescribed identifier, with the individual's consent, to access Centrelink Confirmation eServices to enquire whether the individual is entitled to receive a concession.

DVA File Number

             (2)  For subclause 9.3 of the Australian Privacy Principles:

                     (a)  an organisation mentioned in Part 2 of Schedule 2 is a prescribed organisation; and

                     (b)  a DVA File Number is a prescribed identifier; and

                     (c)  the prescribed circumstance is that the prescribed organisation uses or discloses an individual's prescribed identifier, with the individual's consent, to access Centrelink Confirmation eServices to enquire whether the individual is entitled to receive a concession.
