1996 No. 339 PUBLIC SERVICE REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 3

3.1 If an officer:

   (a)  has the classification of Graduate Administrative Assistant; and

   (b)  was appointed, promoted or transferred to an office of Graduate
        Administrative Assistant in the Australian Customs Service, the
        Department of Defence or the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade
        during the month of January, February or March of 1996; the Public
        Service Regulations have effect, in relation to that officer, as if
        the omission of paragraph 112 (d) of those Regulations by regulation 2
        of these Regulations had not been made.

3.2 If an officer:

   (a)  occupies an office in the Department of Employment, Education,
        Training and Youth Affairs having the classification of Research
        Officer Grade 1; and

   (b)  was appointed, promoted or transferred to an office of Graduate
        Administrative Assistant (Graduate Economist) in the Department of
        Employment, Education and Training during the month of January of
        1996; the Public Service Regulations have effect, in relation to that
        officer, as if the omission of paragraph 112 (e) of those Regulations
        by regulation 2 of these Regulations had not been made.
