(1)

An officer or a police officer who seizes an animal, plant or other goods under section 69 of the Act must as soon as practicable give a notice to the importer, owner or person in control of the animal, plant or other goods.

(2)

The notice must:

(a)

state that the animal, plant or other goods have been seized; and

(b)

identify the place where they have been, or will be, taken.
