1985 No. 221 RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS (LICENSING AND GENERAL) REGULATIONS (AMENDMENT) - REG 3

3. Regulation 2 of the Principal Regulations is amended -
(a) by omitting from the definition of "AUSSAT receive-only station" in
sub-regulation (1) "16, 17, 18, 19, 20 or 21" and substituting "19, 20, 21,
22, 23 or 24";
(b) by omitting from the definition of "fixed station" in sub-regulation (1)

"between fixed points" and substituting "with one other station established at
a fixed point on land";

   (c)  by inserting after the definition of "multipoint distribution station
        receiver, Class B" in sub-regulation (1) the following definition:

"'narrowband area receiver' means a receiving land station that is used in
association with a narrowband area station;";

   (d)  by omitting the definition of "remote control station"; and

   (e)  by omitting the definition of "remote control station, Class C".
