1996 No. 294 RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS (COMPLIANCE LABELLING-INCIDENTAL EMISSIONS) NOTICE - REG 5

5. (1) Subject to subclause (3), a label must be affixed to each device:

   (a)  in the case of a device manufactured in Australia-by the manufacturer;
        or

   (b)  in the case of a device manufactured overseas, unless it has been
        labelled under an arrangement under subclause (2)-by the importer.

(2) The importer of a device may arrange for a label to be affixed to a device
by the manufacturer of the device if the importer has complied with the
requirements in Part 3.

(3) The manufacturer or importer of a device must not affix a label to the
device unless the manufacturer or importer complies with the requirements in
Part 3.
