1993 No. 177 RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS REGULATIONS - REG 43

Marine rescue stations-bodies that provide emergency radiocommunications services
43. (1) For the purposes of the definition of "marine rescue station" in
regulation 3, the Spectrum Manager may declare a body to be a body that is
prepared to provide a comprehensive emergency radiocommunications service to
vessels at sea without discrimination.

(2) The Spectrum Manager must not make a declaration under subregulation (1)
in relation to a body unless there are reasonable grounds for believing that
the body is prepared to provide a comprehensive emergency radiocommunications
service to vessels at sea without discrimination.
