1996 No. 295 RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS STANDARDS (ELECTROMAGNETIC COMPATIBILITY) No. 1 of 1996 - REG 3

3. This instrument does not apply to the following devices:

   (a)  a radiocommunications transmitter;

   (b)  a device that complies with a radio emission standard (other than a
        standard that applies to the device in accordance with this
        instrument) that applies to the device under a law of the Commonwealth
        or of a State or Territory;

   (c)  a device that is the prototype of a device that is intended to be
        available in Australia;

   (d)  a device that is used only for exhibition.
