| - Description: | The Regulations amend the Remuneration Tribunal (Miscellaneous Provisions) Regulations 1976 to remove the equine influenza inquiry commissioner from the jurisdiction of the Remuneration Tribunal. The definition of 'public office' would ordinarily include the commissioner. As the commissioner will have the powers of a royal commissioner and additional powers under the Quarantine Act 1908, it is appropriate that this appointment is excluded from the Tribunal's jurisdiction. |
