1990 No. 252 STATISTICS DETERMINATION (AMENDMENT) - REG 1

Clause 1 of the Statistics Determination is amended:

   (a)  by adding "or an administrative unit, within the meaning of section 50
        or 51 of the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988,
        of
the Australian Capital Territory" at the end of the definition of
"Department";
     (b) by omitting "or the Northern Territory," from the


"(aa) in the case of
definition of "Minister" and substituting ", the Australian Capital Territory
or the Northern Territory,";

   (c)  by inserting after paragraph (a) in the
definition of "Minister" the following paragraph: the Australian Capital
Territory-a Minister within the meaning of the Australian Capital Territory 
(Self-Government) Act 1988 ; and";

   (d)  by inserting",
the Australian Capital Territory" before "or the Northern Territory,"
(wherever occurring) in the definition of "responsible Minister";

   (e)  by
inserting "the Australian Capital Territory (Self-Government) Act 1988 or"
after "within the meaning of" in the definition of "State Act".
