- (1)
- A person commits an offence if:
- (a)
- the person does an act; and
- (b)
- the act results in the defacement or destruction of, or damage to, or
interference with, any building, structure, equipment, notice, sign, barrier,
buoy, natural feature, tree, plant or other vegetation on Trust land.
Penalty:
10 penalty units.
- (2)
- Strict liability applies to the physical
element of an offence against subregulation (1) that is constituted by the
circumstance that the thing defaced, destroyed, damaged or interfered with,
was on Trust land.
- (3)
- A person must not remove from Trust land any building, structure,
equipment, notice, sign, barrier, buoy, natural feature, tree, plant or other
vegetation on the land.
Penalty:
10 penalty units.
- (4)
- Strict liability
applies to the physical element of an offence against subregulation (3) that
is constituted by the circumstance that the thing removed was on Trust land.
