1988 No. 70 STANDARD UNDER THE RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1983 - REG 19

19. Where a transmitter operates in the J3E emission mode the power of each
out-of-band emission shall be attenuated relative to the reference sideband
power of the transmitter by at least:

   (a)  24 dB, where the frequency of the emission differs from the centre
        frequency of the permitted bandwidth by greater than 2 kHz but not
        greater than 6 kHz;

   (b)  34 dB, where the frequency of the emission differs from the centre
        frequency of the permitted bandwidth by greater than 6 kHz but not
        greater than 10 kHz;

   (c)  59 dB, where the frequency of the emission differs from the centre
        frequency of the permitted bandwidth by greater than 10 kHz.
