1988 No. 70 STANDARD UNDER THE RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS ACT 1983 - REG 9

9. (1) Subject to subclause 9 (2), a transmitter shall be capable of operation
only in the A3E or J3E emission modes.

(2) Where the type of information to be transmitted is other than speech
telephony the duration of any such transmission shall not exceed 3 seconds in
any 60 second interval.
