3.1 After regulation 2D, insert: Prescribed payments

"2E. (1) For the purposes of the definition of 'salary or wages' in section 4
of the Act, payments are prescribed payments if:

   (a)  they would otherwise be regarded as salary or wages; and

   (b)  they are paid for work carried out in Area A of the Zone of
        Cooperation.



"(2) In this regulation, 'Area A of the Zone of Cooperation', has the same
meaning as in subsection 5 (1) of the Petroleum (Australia-Indonesia Zone of 
Cooperation) Act 1990 .".
