WORKPLACE RELATIONS ACT 1996 - SECT 631

Employer not to prejudice employee

             (1)  An employer must not, for the reason, or for reasons including the reason, that an application or order has been made under this Division, do or threaten to do any of the following:

                     (a)  dismiss an employee;

                     (b)  injure an employee in his or her employment;

                     (c)  alter the position of an employee to the employee's prejudice.

             (2)  Subsection (1) is a civil remedy provision.
