A Bill for
An Act to amend the Law Enforcement (Powers and Responsibilities) Act 2002 to
authorise police officers to use dogs for general drug detection in public places in the
Kings Cross precinct; and to amend the Law Enforcement (Powers and
Responsibilities) Regulation 2005 to authorise police officers to use dogs for that
purpose on additional railway lines.

This Act commences on the date of assent to this Act. 6

(e) persons at any public place in the Kings Cross precinct 6
(being the area including and bounded by the parts of 7
streets specified in Schedule 2 to the Liquor Act 2007). 8

Omit "but not including the train line between Lysaghts station and 6
Port Kembla station" from clause 38 (1) (d). 7
Insert instead "and including the train line between Wollongong station and 8
Port Kembla station". 9
