Overview of Bill
The object of this Bill is to revoke the reservation of certain land as part of the Meroo
National Park. The relevant land (which was added to the national park on 1 January
2011) will vest in the Crown for an estate in fee simple subject to the Crown Lands
Act 1989.
Outline of provisions
Clause 1 sets out the name (also called the short title) of the proposed Act.Clause 2 provides for the commencement of the proposed Act on the date of assent
to the proposed Act.Schedule 1 amends the National Park Estate (South-Western Cypress Reservations)
Act 2010 to achieve the object set out in the above Overview.
