ABORIGINAL LAND RIGHTS ACT 1983 - SECT 114

114 Procedure for making policies

(1) Before the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council adopts a policy it must--

(a) refer the policy to each Local Aboriginal Land Council for comment, and

(b) consider any submissions made by any Local Aboriginal Land Council within 30 days of the referral of the policy.

(2) A policy takes effect--

(a) on the day on which it is published on the website of the New South Wales Aboriginal Land Council, or

(b) if a later day is specified in the policy--on the later day.

(3) A policy may be amended or revoked in the same way as a policy may be made.
