BIOSECURITY ACT 2015 - SECT 149
Withdrawal or variation of biosecurity undertaking
(1) A person who has made a biosecurity undertaking may, at any time, with the
written agreement of an authorised officer-- (a) withdraw the undertaking, or
(b) vary the undertaking.
(2) Any authorised officer may, at any time-- (a)
withdraw an authorised officer's acceptance of a biosecurity undertaking, by
notice in writing served on the person who gave the undertaking, or
(b) vary
a biosecurity undertaking (but only with the written agreement of the person
who gave the undertaking).
(3) The provisions of an undertaking cannot be
varied to provide for a different alleged contravention.
(4) A biosecurity
undertaking ceases to have effect if-- (a) it is withdrawn by the person who
made it (in accordance with this section), or
(b) acceptance of the
undertaking is withdrawn by an authorised officer.
