BIOSECURITY ACT 2015 - SECT 260
Accreditation authority--meaning
(1) For the purposes of this Act, an
"accreditation authority" means-- (a) the Secretary, or
(b) a person for the
time being approved by the Secretary under this Part to exercise the functions
of an accreditation authority.
(2) A reference in this Act to an
accreditation authority, in relation to any function of an
accreditation authority, includes a reference to a person approved by the
Secretary to exercise the functions of an accreditation authority only if the
accreditation authority is approved to exercise the function concerned.
