BETTING AND RACING ACT 1998 - SECT 22
Duration and cancellation of declared betting event authority
(1) A declared betting event authority remains in force until it is cancelled
by the Minister.
(2) The Minister may cancel a
declared betting event authority if the Minister is satisfied-- (a) that the
licensed bookmaker who holds the authority has failed to comply with any
condition to which the authority is subject, or
(b) that the bookmaker is no
longer a licensed bookmaker, or
(c) that the bookmaker has not complied with
rules made under section 18D in relation to a declared betting event, or
(d)
that the authority should be cancelled for any other cause the Minister thinks
fit.
