CHILDREN (EDUCATION AND CARE SERVICES) NATIONAL LAW (NSW) - SECT 243
Voting
243 Voting
(1) At a meeting of the Board each member will have a deliberative vote.
(2)
A decision supported by a majority of the votes cast at the meeting of the
Board at which a quorum is present is the decision of the Board.
(3) In the
event of an equality of votes the Chairperson (or the Deputy Chairperson if
the Chairperson is not present), will have a second or casting vote.
(4) The
Board must keep a record of all decisions made at a meeting.
(5) If a
decision of the Board to recommend a matter to the Ministerial Council is not
arrived at unanimously, the Chairperson of the Board must advise the
Ministerial Council of the reasons for and extent of the minority opinions.
