CRIMES (DOMESTIC AND PERSONAL VIOLENCE) ACT 2007 - SECT 31

31 Service
(1) A provisional order is to be served personally on the defendant by a
police officer as soon as practicable after it is made.
(2) A
provisional order is to be served personally on the protected person by a
police officer as soon as practicable after it is made unless it is
impractical to do so.
