CRIMES (DOMESTIC AND PERSONAL VIOLENCE) ACT 2007 - SECT 72C
Commissioner must be notified if application relates to police-initiated order
(1) The court must decline to hear an application in respect of a
police-initiated order unless-- (a) the application is made by a police
officer, or
(b) the court is satisfied that notice of the application has
been served on the Commissioner of Police in accordance with the rules of the
court.
(2) The Commissioner of Police has standing to appear in proceedings
for the variation or revocation of any police-initiated order.
