(a) brings or attempts to bring into a detention centre any alcohol, drug or other thing of any kind, or
(b) delivers or attempts to deliver to a detainee any alcohol, drugs or other thing of any kind,is guilty of an offence and is liable to a penalty not exceeding 10 penalty units or imprisonment for a period not exceeding 12 months, or both.
