CASINO CONTROL ACT 1992 - SECT 56
Renewal of licence
(1) A licensee may, not earlier than 1 month before the expiration of his or
her current licence, apply to the NICC for a new licence, in which case-- (a)
the current licence continues in force until the application for the new
licence is determined, and
(b) if granted, the new licence is to be
considered to have been granted on the anniversary of the date on which the
current licence was granted and is to be dated accordingly.
(2) An
application for a new licence is to be made in a form approved by the NICC and
is not to be considered to have been made unless accompanied by the fee
prescribed by the regulations.
(3) The provisions of this Act (except those
relating to the form of an application and the grant of a provisional licence)
apply to and in relation to-- (a) an application under this section for a new
licence, and
(b) the determination of such an application, and
(c) any
licence granted as a result of such an application,
as if the application has
been made by a person other than a licensee.
