COMMUNITY GAMING ACT 2018 - SECT 12
Prohibited prizes
12 Prohibited prizes
(1) A gaming activity is not a permitted gaming activity if any of the prizes
for the activity consist of the following-- (a) tobacco in any form,
(b) a
firearm, ammunition, or an imitation firearm, within the meaning of the
Firearms Act 1996 ,
(c) a prohibited weapon within the meaning of the
Weapons Prohibition Act 1998 ,
(d) any item or service prescribed by the
regulations for the purposes of this section.
(2) The regulations may provide
for exceptional circumstances in which a contravention of subsection (1) does
not have the effect that a gaming activity is no longer a
permitted gaming activity.
