CHILDREN'S GUARDIAN ACT 2019 - SECT 129
Restriction on functions
129 Restriction on functions
The Children's Guardian must not carry out the following functions-- (a) an
investigation into the death of a child that is or has been subject to-- (i)
an investigation under the Coroners Act 2009 , or
(ii) a review or an
investigation under the Ombudsman Act 1974 ,
(b) the investigation or
resolution of a matter that is, or was, the subject of a community services
complaint within the meaning of Part 4 of the
Community Services (Complaints, Reviews and Monitoring) Act 1993 , unless the
Ombudsman has agreed.
