CONVEYANCERS LICENSING ACT 2003 - SECT 125
Supreme Court may review expenses of receivership
125 Supreme Court may review expenses of receivership
(1) If, on the application of the relevant licensee, the Supreme Court is
satisfied that the expenses of the receivership are excessive, the Supreme
Court may order the taking of accounts between the Secretary and the receiver.
(2) After the taking of accounts, the Supreme Court-- (a) may relieve the
relevant licensee from payment of any amount in excess of that determined by
the Supreme Court to be fairly payable, or
(b) if the receiver has been paid,
or allowed on account, an amount that includes such an excess--may order the
receiver to repay the excess.
