CRIMES (ADMINISTRATION OF SENTENCES) ACT 1999 - SECT 140
Conduct of hearing
140 Conduct of hearing
(1) At any hearing conducted by the Parole Authority
pursuant to an application under section 139, the offender may make
submissions to the Parole Authority as to whether or not the offender should
be released on parole.
(2) Submissions may be made orally or in writing and,
if in writing, may be given to the Parole Authority either in advance of or at
the hearing.
(3) The Parole Authority may postpone or adjourn a hearing for
any reason that seems appropriate to it.
