CHILD PROTECTION (WORKING WITH CHILDREN) ACT 2012 - SECT 12
Classes of clearances
(1) There are to be the following classes of
working with children check clearances-- (a) volunteer--authorising workers to
engage in unpaid child-related work,
(b) non-volunteer--authorising workers
to engage in paid and unpaid child-related work.
(2) Despite section 8, the
holder of a volunteer clearance may engage in paid child-related work if the
person has been engaged in that work for a period of 30 consecutive days or
less.
