CHILD PROTECTION (WORKING WITH CHILDREN) ACT 2012 - SECT 52
Regulations
52 Regulations
(1) The Governor may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act, for or
with respect to any matter that by this Act is required or permitted to be
prescribed or that is necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying
out or giving effect to this Act.
(2) In particular, the regulations may make
provision for or with respect to the following- (a) the information to be
provided by the Children’s Guardian to applicants for or holders of
working with children check clearances,
(b) the exemption of persons or
classes of persons from all or any requirements of this Act, unconditionally
or subject to conditions.
(3) The regulations may amend Schedule 1 or
Schedule 2.
(4) The regulations may create offences punishable by a penalty
not exceeding 20 penalty units.
