Offenders to be warned about application of Act
25C Offenders to be warned about application of Act
(1) A court that sentences a person for a serious offence is to cause the
person to be advised of the existence of this Act and of its application to
the offence unless the person is not present at the time of sentencing.
(2) A
failure by a court to comply with this section does not affect the validity of
a sentence or prevent the making of an order against a person under this Act.
