ELECTORAL ACT 2017 - SECT 109

109 Hours of operation of voting centres

(1) Each voting centre, other than a mobile voting centre, that is to operate on election day must--

(a) be open for voting from 8 am on election day, and

(b) unless adjourned, close at 6 pm on that day.

(2) However, if any elector entitled to vote is in a voting centre at 6 pm on election day and desires to vote, the elector must be permitted to vote.

(3) Subsection (2) is subject to sections 203 (2) (c) and (d) and 211 (d).
