(1) An employer must, at the request of any elector employed by the employer, allow the elector to go, at a reasonable time, to a voting centre and record his or her vote at any election.: Maximum penalty--(a) in the case of a corporation--25 penalty units, or(b) in any other case--5 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply where the elector has a half-holiday on the election day.
