ELECTORAL ACT 2017 - SECT 210
Interference with right to vote
210 Interference with right to vote
(1) A person must not hinder or
interfere with the free exercise, by any other person, of the person's right
to vote in an election under this Act. : Maximum penalty--200 penalty units or
imprisonment for 3 years, or both.
(2) A person must not, by violence or
intimidation, influence the vote of a person at an election. : Maximum
penalty--200 penalty units or imprisonment for 3 years, or both.
(3) An
offence under this section is an indictable offence.
