ELECTORAL ACT 2017 - SECT 39
Electoral Commissioner to investigate and deal with complaints
(1) The Electoral Commissioner is to investigate a complaint made under this
Division.
(2) After investigating the complaint, the Electoral Commissioner
may-- (a) enrol, or terminate the enrolment of, the person concerned, or
(b)
correct any information relating to the person kept on the
Electoral Information Register, or
(c) refuse to take any of the actions
referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b).
(3) The Electoral Commissioner is to
give the complainant and the person whose enrolment is the subject of the
complaint written notice of the Electoral Commissioner's decision under this
section and the reasons for the decision.
