72 False statements
(1) A person must not, in any application made under
this Part, make a statement that the person knows to be false or misleading in
a material particular. : Maximum penalty--200 penalty units or imprisonment
for 2 years, or both.
(2) A person must not, in purported compliance with a
notice served on the person or some other person under section 65 or 67,
furnish information knowing it to be false or misleading in a material
particular. : Maximum penalty--200 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years,
or both.
