(1) An application to register a person as a third-party campaigner in the Register of Third-party Campaigners for a general election may be made to the Electoral Commission by the person or the person's official agent.
(2) An application for registration must--(a) be made in the manner and form approved by the Electoral Commission, and(b) be made during the period beginning on the election day for the previous general election and ending on the 7th day before the election day for the general election concerned, and(c) set out the following particulars--(i) the full name and address of the person,(ii) such other particulars as may be prescribed by the regulations, and(d) be accompanied by an appointment of the official agent of the third-party campaigner.
