ESSENTIAL SERVICES ACT 1988 - SECT 5

5 Relationship to other Acts etc

This Act has effect despite anything expressed or implied in:

(a) any other Act, including:

(i) the Industrial Relations Act 1996 , or

(ii) the State Emergency and Rescue Management Act 1989 or the State Emergency Service Act 1989 , or

(iii) Part 6 of the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 , or

(b) any State industrial instrument, or

(c) any award or agreement within the meaning of the Industrial Relations Act 1996 , or

(d) any contract or agreement, whether oral or in writing, or

(e) any deed, security, document or writing.
