Transformers
28 Transformers
(1) This section applies if, in the opinion of the distributor, the supply of
electricity required by a customer-- (a) exceeds that which can be provided by
a service line from its street mains, and
(b) can best be given by installing

(2) In such a case, the distributor may require the customer to provide for
use by the distributor, free of cost, a place within those premises to
accommodate the transformers, switchgear or other equipment that the
distributor considers should be installed.
(3) The place provided must be
approved by, and must be enclosed in a manner approved by, the distributor.
