Interim work permits
(1) The Authority may, pending the determination of an application for-- (a) a
seller's licence, or
(b) a technician's licence, or
(d) a
testing facility licence,
issue a work permit in a form approved by the
Authority.
(2) A work permit is subject to any conditions or restrictions of
which the holder of the permit is notified by the Authority when the permit is
issued or at any later time.
(3) A work permit may be cancelled by the
Authority at any time and, unless sooner surrendered or cancelled, ceases to
have effect on approval or refusal of the application made by the holder of
the work permit for a gaming-related licence.
(4) Subject to any condition or
restriction imposed under subsection (2), this Act applies to the holder of a
work permit in the same way as it applies to the holder of a
gaming-related licence of the same kind as that applied for by the holder of
the work permit.
