Authority may enter into agreements relating to infrastructure
26 Authority may enter into agreements relating to infrastructure
(1) The Authority may, in accordance with the
Property and Infrastructure Management Strategy and in connection with the
exercise of its functions, enter into an agreement with a person or body for
or with respect to the following-- (a) the acquisition, installation or use of
infrastructure,
(b) the acquisition or use of property (including land).
(2)
Without limiting subsection (1), the Authority may enter into agreements to
enable the Authority to access infrastructure located on the land of another
person.
(3) The Authority may, at the request of the owner of land on which
infrastructure owned by the Authority is located, enter into agreements for or
with respect to the relocation of that infrastructure.
(4) An agreement
referred to in subsection (3) may require the land owner to pay the whole or
part of the reasonable costs incurred by the Authority in connection with the
relocation of the infrastructure.
