Incidental powers
57F Incidental powers
(1) The Inspector has power to do all things necessary to be done for or in
connection with, or reasonably incidental to, the exercise of the Inspector's
functions. Any specific powers conferred on the Inspector by this Act are not
taken to limit by implication the generality of this section.
(2) Section 40
of the Surveillance Devices Act 2007 does not apply to the use, publication
or communication of protected information within the meaning of that Act in
relation to the exercise of the Inspector's functions under section 57B.
