Time for making challenge to juror
45 Time for making challenge to juror
(1) A challenge for cause or a peremptory challenge to a juror in
criminal proceedings or in civil proceedings can be made only after the juror
has been called to be sworn and before the juror is sworn.
(1A) A challenge
for cause to a juror in criminal proceedings or in civil proceedings may be
made either before or after all rights of peremptory challenge have been
exhausted.
