Authority may impose special licence conditions
52 Authority may impose special licence conditions
(1) Conditions relating to harm minimisation The Authority may impose
conditions on a licence prohibiting or restricting activities (such as
promotions or discounting) that could encourage misuse or abuse of liquor
(such as binge drinking or excessive consumption).
(2) Conditions relating to
serving of liquor The Authority may impose conditions on a licence requiring a
licensee, in specified circumstances-- (a) to cease to serve liquor on the
licensed premises, or
(b) to restrict access to the licensed premises in a
manner and to the extent provided by the conditions,
or both, from a time of
day that is earlier than the time at which, as otherwise required by the
licence, trading must cease.
(3) Conditions relating to local liquor accords
The Authority may impose conditions on a licence requiring the licensee to
participate in, and to comply with, a local liquor accord.
