LIQUOR ACT 2007 - SECT 7
Licence required to sell liquor
(1) A person must not sell liquor unless the person is authorised to do so by
a licence. : Maximum penalty--100 penalty units or imprisonment for 12 months,
or both.
(2) A person does not commit an offence under subsection (1) if the
person is an employee or agent of a licensee and the sale is made in
accordance with this Act and the authorisation conferred by the licence.
(3)
A person who is the occupier, manager or person apparently in control of any
premises on or from which liquor is sold in contravention of subsection (1) is
taken to have sold the liquor unless it is proved that the person-- (a) had no
knowledge of the sale, and
(b) had used all due diligence to prevent the sale
of liquor on or from the premises.
