LIQUOR ACT 2007 - SECT 72H
Revocation of cumulative impact assessments
72H Revocation of cumulative impact assessments
(1) The Authority may revoke a cumulative impact assessment if the Authority
no longer considers that granting further relevant licences or
related authorisations for premises in the area to which the assessment
applies is likely to be detrimental to the well-being of the local or broader
community.
(2) However, before revoking the cumulative impact assessment the
Authority must consult with relevant stakeholders for the assessment.
(3) If,
after considering the views of relevant stakeholders, the Authority revokes
the cumulative impact assessment it must publish, on a publicly accessible
government website, a statement-- (a) that the assessment has been revoked,
and
(b) that includes information about why the assessment is no longer
necessary.
