Determination of estate, interest and amount
25 Determination of estate, interest and amount
(1) In hearing and disposing of any claim referred to in section 24, the Court
shall have jurisdiction to determine the nature of the estate or interest of
the claimant in the subject land and the amount of compensation (if any) to
which the claimant is entitled.
(2) In the exercise of its jurisdiction under
subsection (1), the Court may order that any other person who claims to have
had or who may have had an interest in the subject land at the date of
acquisition or taking be joined as a party to the proceedings and may then
proceed to determine the nature of the estate or interest of that person and
the amount of compensation (if any) to which the person is entitled.
